We will respond to requests promptly and in any event, within 20 working days. In cases where information is covered by an exemption, but we are required to consider the public interest in releasing it, we will endeavour to provide the information within a reasonable time. Such requests will be considered by a specially convened group of officers known as the “Public Interest Panel”. This panel will take decisions as to whether the public interest is best served by releasing the information or by upholding the exemption in question.

All publications which we provide are subject to copyright protection. Where this protection refers to Education Leeds publications you must contact us and obtain permission in writing before content can be copied, redistributed or published in any manner. Where permission is granted, this is conditional on you identifying the source of the material and acknowledging its copyright status.

Where copyright refers to other organisations, you must contact these directly as Education Leeds cannot grant permission on their behalf.

Currently Education Leeds does not charge for Freedom of Information requests.
