All over Leeds, more than 3,700 school governors, people like you, are helping to run our schools.
Governors come from local communities and from all walks of life. You do not have to be a parent to be a school governor. Governors are responsible for raising standards and for a school's overall performance.
The Education Leeds' Governor Support Service can help with any query relating to being a governor.
Eleven members of the Governor Support Service are available to help you. Please click on Governor Support Service for more details.
The Governor Support Service (GSS) now places all guidance and advice on the GSS teampage which is accessed on our intranet via the Leeds Learning Net, providing you have an LLN email account. If you would like to be reminded of your password please ring the LLN helpline on 336 8999 or email servicedesk@leedslearning.net.
Further help is available by phoning Governor Support Service 247 5560 or email: education.governors@educationleeds.co.uk
