The HLTA Course is aimed at Teaching/Classroom Assistants who have been in post for a number of years and would like to reinforce and develop their classroom skills and further their career development.
Leeds has one of the largest numbers of HLTAs in any LEA and we wish to continue to develop all Teaching Assistants to fulfil their highest possible potential.
We will be facilitating a course that will begin in March 2010 and we are planning future courses to start in early September 2010, which will take us through to 2011.
Numbers are limited, therefore, applications are considered on a first come first served basis, depending on meeting the criteria and the interest generated.
